SILENT SENTINELS OF NAWALGARH
Ranbir Singh travels to
Nawalgarh where one sees two distinct styles of
traditional haveli architecture: the
purely Indian and partly Indian and partly European
style. The earlier havelis, situated
mostly to the north of the east-west axis of the town,
were constructed in the traditional style whose main
features are intricate carvings and extensive mural work.
