An overdose
of transfers

Within four years of its inception, Mata Ganga Khalsa College, Manji Sahib, Kottan, which is run by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, has got four principals. Dr Paramjit Kaur Tiwana, the founder Principal took over on July, 15, 1997, and continued till August 30, 2000, when she was transferred to Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College, Talwandi Sabo. Dr Majinder Kaur, the next principal, continued till April 11, 2001. Then again Dr Tiwana was brought back to Mata Ganga Khalsa College, On April 23, 2001. And now after merely two months, Dr Tiwana has again been issued transfer orders for Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College, Talwandi Sabo, on June 6, 2001, and Dr Manjinder Kaur has been called back to join Mata Ganga Khalsa College.
Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi could not be contacted in spite of repeated efforts.
