Jet missing
Taipei, October 5 
A Taiwan Air Force F-5F warplane lost contact with the air base during a training mission this afternoon. 
The fate of the jet and its two pilots is not known. The air forced launched a search for the jet and its two pilots, Broadcasting Corp of China (BCC) reported. DPA

HC Judge to probe Muzaffarpur firing
Patna, October 5
Mr Justice L. N. Prasad of the Patna High Court will probe the circumstances leading to the police firing and subsequent imposition of curfew in Biharís Muzaffarpur town on September 26, State Home Secretary has said. The state government on Thursday appointed Mr Justice Prasad to inquire into the Muzaffarpur incidents and asked him to submit the report soon, Home Secretary U.N. Panjiar said. PTI
