"LOOK, I am giving you only 15 minutes to finish your job", said a senior official who was in charge of looking after the dignitaries who had come to Delhi to attend the Non-Aligned Meeting in 1983.

He conducted me into the main hall of Vigyan Bhavan, where the plenary session was to take place in a few minutes.

I saw the President of Cuba, Fidel Castro, entering the hall. I stood in a corner and drew his sketch before he took his seat. Tall and well-built, he was really attractive.

A man who fought for the freedom of his country and spent 15 years in jail along with his brother is no ordinary man.

"I must get his signature at any cost", I thought.

I went to him and when I showed him his sketch he was very pleased.

He made me sit by his side till he affixed his signature on the sketch.
