A US Navy Aviation Ordnanceman runs out from beneath an F-14D "Tomcat" aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) after putting safety pins back into unexpended ordnance on October 10, 2001. This is done so the aircraft can be safely moved around the flight after landing and recovery. The Carl Vinson is operating in the Arabian Sea in support of operation "Enduring Freedom." REUTERS
