Departures: These were above normal in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperatures in the region was 37.2°C recorded at Jaisalmer, (Rajasthan). Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: These were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.7°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
