Situation along LoC “normal”
New Delhi, October 19
India today described the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) as “normal and routine”. Brig Jaspal Singh told reporters on behalf of the Ministry of Defence at a joint briefing by the ministries of External Affairs and Defence that “sporadic fighting” which was currently taking place along the LoC was “not of much consequence”. He also said there was “nothing unusual” about the military situation on the LoC. TNS
