PWG BLOWS UP COCA COLA PLANT
Vijayawada, October 21
Armed naxalites of the People’s War Group (PWG) today blew up some units of a Coca Cola bottling plant at Atmakur village in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh in protest against the US attacks on Afghanistan. The police said 15 PWG militants, including a woman, arrived in a black jeep and barged into the plant. They locked the security personnel in a room and planted landmines in the boiling unit, the generator room and the production plant. However, the landmine in the production plant did not went off.
