IAF fighter jet crashes
Lucknow, October 25
A Jaguar fighter jet of the Indian Air Force on Thursday crashed in the forests near Bilalkhera village in Saharanpur district, seriously injuring its pilot, a police spokesman said here. The aircraft had taken off from Ambala and crashed around 10.00 a.m., he said. It was not immediately known whether the pilot had tried to bail out before the mishap.
