Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, above normal in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 39.7C recorded at Barmer.

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 14.6C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 27: Weather will be dry.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 27: Mist in the morning. Hazy sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 35C and 18C, respectively.
