Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan, fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 40.8°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 15.6°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October29: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 29: Hazy sky. Mist/fog in the morning. No significant change. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34°C and 18°C respectively.
