Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Uttaranchal, fell in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and normal in Punjab. The highest temperature in the region was 39.6°C recorded at Nal AP (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little.Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in west Uttar Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 16.0°C recorded at Sarsawa AP (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 30: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 30: Mist in the morning. Hazy sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 34°C and 18°C respectively.
