Rainfall:
Light rain has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and west Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in Uttaranchal.The lowest temperature in the plains was 14°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 3: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana.Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Isolated thundersqualls are likely in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours.
