in region New Delhi, November 6 Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab, rose in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab). Forecast valid until the morning of November 8: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in Rajasthan.
