Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Allahabad recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, fell in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.2°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 10: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.
