NCP to contest 40
seats

The Nationalist Congress Party will contest 40 seats of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in the forthcoming elections.
This was disclosed by Mr Surjan Singh Joga, former MLA and president, Punjab Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Cell of the party.

Action committee to hold dharna

The members of the “Ravi Kant murder action committee” will stage a dharna in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, on November 21 in protest against the police and the district administration for not arresting the killers of Ravi Kant (17), who was allegedly kidnapped from here on August 14 and later his body was found on the same day in the canal near Sangrur police lines.
