Order in JMM case challenged
New Delhi, November 19
A special courtís order convicting former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao and former Home Minister Buta Singh in the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) bribery case was challenged in the Delhi High Court today on the grounds that it was based on only a single statement by an approver. The court, meanwhile, extended the interim anticipatory bail of the three former JMM MPs. Suraj Mandal, Shibu Soren and Simon Marandi till January 17, the next date of hearing. UNI
