13 Killed in train accident
Patna, November 20
At least 13 persons were killed and another 10 injured after a pilot engine rammed into a passenger train at Dumari halt in Lakhisarai district on the Patna-Keul section of Eastern Railway’s Danapur division on Tuesday. Additional DGP (Railways) J.K. Sinha here said a pilot engine proceeding from Mokama hit the Mokama-Howrah passenger train resulting in the accident. Civil and police officials of the district, besides senior railway officers, rushed to the site of the accident to supervise rescue and relief operations, sources said. UNI
