Rainfall: Very light rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.8C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 9: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.
