Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 10th December: Light rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region. Sunny day. Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 9C.
