Rainfall: Light rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana and Punjab, rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 7.C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 13: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.
