Cold wave claims 4 lives in UP
Lucknow, December 16
Uttar Pradesh today continued to reel under a severe cold wave with mercury dipping below normal in several places, claiming four lives and taking the toll this season to 16. Four deaths were reported from Ballia district, reports said. A dense fog engulfed a number of places, affecting rail, road and air traffic, reports said. No let up was expected in the cold wave in the next 24 hours, the weather office said. PTI
