Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Snowfall report (cm): Himachal Pradesh: Patisio 1 and Jammu and Kashmir: Gulmarg 5, Part 3 and Pharkian 1.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 19: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 19: Mainly clear sky. Fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
