Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana and Rajasthan, fell in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were above normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.4°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 22: Weather will be dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 22: Clear sky. Chilly winds during day time. Mist or fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
