Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably below normal in east Rajasthan, below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.4°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 24: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of December 24: Sky will be clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.

Earthquake report: An earthquake of slight intensity having a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred at 11.03 p.m. yesterday with its epicentre at latitude 69.7°N and, longitude 23.7°E in Kachchh (Gujarat) region.
