Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably below normal in east Rajasthan, below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.4C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 24: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of December 24: Sky will be clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.

Earthquake report: An earthquake of slight intensity having a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred at 11.03 p.m. yesterday with its epicentre at latitude 69.7N and, longitude 23.7E in Kachchh (Gujarat) region.
