The Haryana Government has spent Rs
135.44 crore on the repairs of 3,678.47 km of roads in different parts
of the state during the past two years. This was stated by the Haryana
Chief Minister, Mr Om Prakash Chautala, while inaugurating a Rs 30-lakh
Kisan Rest House on the premises of the new foodgrain market at Gohana
town, 35 km from here, yesterday.

quarrel leads couple to attempt suicide
Faridabad, December 23
Fed up with regular ‘quarrels’
between themselves, a young couple of Dabua Colony here attempted
suicide by consuming a poisonous substance yesterday. Both of them have
been admitted to the Escorts Hospital here in a serious condition.
