Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Punjab, fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were above normal in Punjab and west Rajasthan, below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.8°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).
