Dreaming of grains DREAMS of grains are not very common, except among those who deal with it, such as farmers or wholesale traders. In such cases seeing a good stock of grain or seeing one eaten by rats or infested with worms could be interpreted as wish-fulfilment or fear /insecurity dreams, respectively. But one comes across instances wherein people having nothing to do with grains tend to see grains as symbols in their dreams. As per Indian thought, for you to see grains in large amounts lying in your store or in your yard foretells gains and happiness. With your hard work, persistence and patience you shall become rich. You shall gain respect and get honours. But should you see depleting grain reserves then it predicts the opposite. Should the grains be infested with worms and ants then it means that illness shall prevail in your family. Should you see rats eating grains then you are warned to beware of people who may take advantage of you. As per western thought, dreaming of
grains is a fortunate dream, foretelling wealth and happiness. For a
young woman it is a fortunate dream. She will meet wealthy and adoring
companions. To see a granary full of grains is an indication of wealth
and gains, to see an empty one foretells the opposite. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

A 28-year-old woman would often dream
of walking through a field of ripe paddy, plucking the corns as she went
by. When she returned home there would be nothing in her hand but the
yard of her house would be full of grains. Somehow she wouldn’t feel
happy the sight. She would be totally indifferent to it. The lady had
worked hard to achieve something her heart had desired, but with the
passage of time she has lost her attraction for the goal. Although she
had achieved her goal she did not derive any pleasure from it. On
speaking to her it was found that marrying and having a family of her
own was a dream for her. But after marriage her husband who worked in a
private company seemed to have no time. So the monotonous routine of
looking after her children, making food, etc. seemed to hold no pleasure
        for her. |
