The police today claimed to have arrested all the five accused in the post-Godhra Derol massacre in which a mob killed 10 members of a family.

In their first catch in this two-and-a-half-year-old case that was reopened recently following a Supreme Court order, four accused were arrested from Derol village on Saturday, while the fifth one was nabbed yesterday, sources with the Panchamahals district police said.

The accused Bipin Kumar Parmar, Dinesh Patel, Ambu Vankar, Anil Parmar and Rajesh Patel were produced before a local court yesterday and remanded in judicial custody.

On March 1, 2002, 10 persons, including six women, of a family of Limkheda in Panchamahals district, were allegedly killed and burnt by a mob at Deol village.
