Bollywood chases the
young

Bollywood has
been bitten by the youth bug. There are as many young movie-makers as

 |
Rock ‘n’ Roll turned 50 on July 5, when Elvis Presley’s recording of That’s All Right Mama wailed simultaneously over at least 1,200 radio stations worldwide. Stations from the UK to Ukraine, Sweden to Switzerland, Canada to Mexico and France to Germany carried the song as it was fed from Sun Studios, in Memphis, Tennessee. That is where Presley, a 19-year-old truck driver and two other musicians, recorded what many historians call the first rock ‘n’ roll song. — AFP |
