Rain, thundershowers in HP, J&K

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and east Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chandigarh 5 and Naraingarh 2, Himachal Pradesh: Kasol 10, Dhudhi 5, Solangnala 4, Berthin, Paonta and Sunnibhaji 3 each, Kahu and Shimla 2 each and Bhang, Bhunter, Ghamroor Guler, Kangra, Nadaun, Nagrotasuriya, Pandoh,, Rampurbushahar and Sundernagar 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 5, Srinagar and Quazigund 2 each and Banihal 1, Punjab: Garhshankar 9, Amritsar 3, Nangal 2 and Ropar 1, east Rajasthan: Mount Abu 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Kakardharighat 15, Birdghat 13, Rigoli 12, Gorakhpur 11, Basti, Katarniaghat and Khadda 8 each Bansi and Kakrahi 7 each, Mukhlishpur 6, Sultanpur 5, Banda 4, Ayodhya, Bhatpurwaghat, Kanpur, Mirzapur and Turtipar 3 each, Neemsar and Rai Bareli 2 each, Jaunpur, Chillaghat, Hanumansetu, Varanasi (BHU), Paliakala and Shardhanagar1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat 3, Baraelli 2 and Etawah 1 and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 20, Patnagar 9, Joshimath 7, Marora 6, Rishikesh and Uttarkashi 4 each, Mukteshwar 3, Dehra Dun 2 and Haridwar 1.
