Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Dharampur 5, Kandaghat 2 and Kasauli and Kahu 1 each and Uttaranchal: Joshimath 2.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 12: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 12: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rain/thundershowers in some areas.
