South-west monsoon has further advanced towards remaining parts of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, thus covering the entire region. Monsoon has been active in east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amountof rainfall in centimeters are -East Rajasthan: Kapasan 13, Bhansroadgarh 12, Railmogra 9, Bhadesar, Bijolia and Mejadam 7 each, Dungla, Kharidam and Nimbahera 6 each, Bhim, Baseri, Chhatisadri, Khandar, Merta, Rawatbhata and Todaraisingh 5 each, Barisadri, Dholpur, Gangrar, Gangapur, Jaitpura, Jawaja, Mandawar, Matrikundia, Mandal, Masuda, Tatgarh and Udaipur city 4 each, Ajanbandh, Bhilwara, Bhinay, Chandsen, Devgarh, Manoharthana, Nagaur, Talabpura, Udaipur A.P. and Vijaynagar 3 each, Beawar, Devel, Rajsamand and Talabshahi 2 each and Bassi, Raipur and Rajgarh 1 each, West Rajasthan: Marwar junction 8, Bilara 7, Raipur 6, Sojat 5, Desuri and Jetrain 4 each and Bhopalgarh and Sumerpur 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Bhatpurwaghat 14, Khadda 10, Kakrahi 8, Bhinga 7, Bansi, Dalmau and Elginbridge 6 each, Jaunpur and Regoli 4 each, Allahabad and Balrampur 3 each, Basti, Birdghat, Palliakalan, Shardanagar and Turtipar 2 each and Ballia, Ghazipur, Lucknow and Mukhlishpur 1 each.West Uttar Pradesh: Ankinghat 5, Etawah 3, and Mohana, Narora and Kalp 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 13, Uttarkashi 6, Dehradun 4, Hardwar 3, Haripur, Joshimath and Rishikesh 2 each and Morara, Rudraprayag and Srinagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 20: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 20: partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain/thundery development in some areas.
