5 of family massacred in Rajouri

Jammu, July 20
A retired soldier and four members of his family, including a three-year-old child and two women, were shot dead by terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit in Rajouri district today.

The terrorists entered the house of the retired Army personnel, Abdul Gani, in Gurshanwala village and killed his wife Gul Begum, son Muzaffar Hussain, daughter Azma and the infant.

The terrorists tortured the family members before killing them.

A boy, who escaped from the clutches of the militants, said that four terrorists came to the house around midnight and asked about the whereabouts of Abdul Gani. Two terrorists stood outside the house, while the two others massacred the family members.
