Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bangana 1; east Uttar Pradesh: Bani, Kanpur and Sultanpur (FM) 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 3 and Dehra Dun 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 24: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of July 24: Partly cloudy sky with dust haze. Thundery development/light rain accompanied with squall is likely in some areas.
