Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, at many places in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana Ayanagar 1, Himachal Pradesh: Guler 14, Nagrotasurian 10, Pandoh 7, Dharamsala and Ghamroor 6 each, Kangra 4, Sujanpurtira 2 and Baijnath and dhundhi 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 2, Punjab: Malakpur 7, east Rajasthan: Rajakhera 14, Mandrial 7, Bakani, Bathelidam and Sagod 3 each, Baran, Gopalpura, Sapotra, Shahbad and Urmilasagar 2 each and Asnawar, Danpur, Dariabad, Gangdhar, Kushalgarh, Manoharthana and Pidawa 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Katerniaghat 6, Kanpur 5, Gorakhpur 4, Birdghat, Ghazipur and Shardanagar 3 each and Balrampur and Dalmau 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Narora 3, Fatehgarh 2 and Bareilly and Dabri 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 15, Dehra Dun 12, Rudraprayag 5, Marora 4, Haripur and Tehri 2 each and Banbasa 1.
