Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most Places in Himachal Pradesh, at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Dharamsala 10, Kangra 8, Nagrotasuriyan 5, Pandoh 4, Bhunter 3, Guler, Kahu, Kasol, Sujanpurtira and Rampurbushahar 2 each and Berthin and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 13 and Jammu 3, East Rajasthan Sollopat 9, Arthuuna and Garhi 7 each, Banswara, Kushalgarh, Sagwara and Galiakot 6 each, Deval, Dhambola, chickli, Sajjangarh and Shergarh 5 each, Kanva 4, Salumber, Kherwara, Duganpur, Veja, Ganeshpur and Reodar 3 each, Sarada, Gangdhar, Thana, Nithuwa, Ghatol, Bhungra and Bagidora 2 each and Bhilwara, Jhalawar, Jhadol, Kotada, Aspur, Sabla, Bjandam, Kesharpura and Pipalkhunte 1 each, West Rajasthan: Karanpur 5 and Nokh 1, East Uttar Pradesh; Katerniaghat 3 and Turtipar 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 5, Joshimath and Rudraprayag 1 each.
