Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Kalka 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kangra 7, Dharamsala 5, Nagrotasurian 3, Pandoh 2 and Guler and Kahu 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 8, East Rajasthan: Mount Abu and Pratapgarh 11 each, Dariabad and Ghadoltank 10 each, Reodar 9, Bijolia 8, Kota A.P. 7, Gangdhar 6, Bethlidam, Kapatan, and Ladpura 5 each, Degod, Jahajpur, Kherwara, Salumber and Sangod 4 each, Chhotisadri, Ganeshpur, Jhalawar and Kushalgarh 3 each, Aspur, Bhilwara, Dungarpur, Mangliwas, Sarwar, Sabla and Udaipur A.P. 2 each and Ajmer, Barisadri, Deval, Nasirabad, Rawatbhata and Sawaimadhopur 1 each, West Rajasthan: Raniwara 5, Jaswantpura and Sanchore 3 each and Bhinmal 1 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 5, Dehra Dun 4, Rudraprayag 2 and Rishikesh 1.
