Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 20: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Scattered heavy rain with isolated very heavy falls are likely in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh during the same period.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 20: Generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain/thundershowers, one or two may be heavy in some areas.
