Roth and Adrienne Rich for the National Book Critics Circle awards.
Dylan’s memoir Chronicles,
Vol. 1, which has been an instant success, is among the finalists
for biography/autobiography along with best sellers - Ron Chernow’s
biography of Alexander Hamilton and Stephen Greenblatt’s biography of
Shakespeare, Will in the World, according to
hollywoodreporter.com.
Dylan has been toasted for a brilliant effort at analysing his life and
times and influences on his stunning music. The book carries the Dylan
story from the time he was a young singer-songwriter in Greenwich
