Haryana
declares 3-day state mourning
Offices, educational
institutions closed today
Chandigarh, March 31
The Haryana Government has declared
three-day state mourning from today as a mark of respect to the two
Ministers, Mr Surender Singh, Agriculture and Revenue Minister, and Mr
O.P. Jindal, Power Minister, who died in a helicopter crash in
Saharanpur district today.

leaders send condolences
New Delhi, March 31
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, his
predecessor Atal Bihari Vajpayee and senior leaders from different
political parties expressed shock and grief over the death of Haryana
Power Minister O. P. Jindal and Agriculture Minister Surender Singh and
crew of the aircraft in a helicopter crash, near Saharanpur, in Uttar
Pradesh today.
