Salem’s brain
mapping Bangalore, December 29 Anti-terrorist squad (ATS) officials, who brought Salem here, said brain mapping involved measuring electrical impulses to ascertain whether the person being questioned was telling the truth or not. Salem would be subjected to narco analysis tomorrow. It would involve injecting him with sodium pentathol to render him in a comatose during which he would be asked questions. Officials said Salem had been briefed about what each of the tests would mean and what would be done to him during the entire exercise. They said Salem was cooperating in the conduct of various tests. Police sources are keeping Salem’s place of detention in the city a secret with extra security being put in place after the shooting incident in the Indian Institute of Science. |
