Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of theregion. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.0C recorded at Amritsar .

Forecast valid until the morning of February 5, 2006: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 5, 2006: Mainly clear sky.Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperaturewill be around 10C. Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of February 5, 2006: Sky will be mainly clear.
