Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature rose in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal and changed litle elsewhere.

Departure: It was markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 20: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 20: Partly cloudy sky. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 14C.
