Egg over chicken

Not long ago, people had stopped discussing chickens, what to talk of eating due to the fear of bird flu. But chicken tikkas and kebabs are back in conversation. And so is mouth watering at the mere name of chicken. Eggs have regained their lost respect at the breakfast table.

The question whether the egg came first or the chicken also seems to have been settled. According to a British scientist, it was the egg that came first. However, I’m sure this research would not have any effect on the nutrition value of the egg. But parents will no longer be able to baffle their kids by asking this age-old question.

But there are still lots of these brain-teasers. Like what comes first — Sunday or Monday?

I asked my nephew, "Simar, akal badi ki bhains?" (What is bigger — brains or buffalo). He replied, "A buffalo, if elected to power".
