Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places is in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall n cm are; Haryana: Kalka 3 and Chandigarh 1, Himachal Pradesh: Kasol 4 and Berthin, Nahan, Sujanpurtira and Sundernagar 1 each, Punjab: Nangal 2, East Uttar Pradesh: Kanpur 2 and Katerniaghat and Shadanagar 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 3 and Uttarkashi 2.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 47.1C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valild until the morning of June 26: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
