The House International Relations Committee (HIRC) on Tuesday commenced a “markup” hearing on House Resolution (HR) 5682, a modified version of HR 4794 that seeks to exempt from certain requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 a proposed nuclear agreement for cooperation with India.

Sex racket: judicial custody for 2 ex-ministers
Srinagar, June 27
The Chief Judicial Magistrate here today remanded two former Jammu and Kashmir ministers, allegedly involved in the sex racket, in 14 days' judicial custody.
Two former ministers Raman Matto and Ghulam Ahmad Mir are in the custody of the CBI since June 20.
3 water board officials suspended
