Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Tajewala 8, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 28, Nahan 17, Nadaun 3 and Guler and Sundernagar 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 11; Punjab: Nangal 3 and Uttaranchal: Haripur 13, Dehradun and Rishikesh 4 each, Uttarkashi 3, Srinagar 2 and Pantnagar and Rudraprayag 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 25: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.
