Monsoon has been vigorous in Punjab and east Rajasthan and active in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have been reported from most places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at many places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Bahadurgarh 9, Ballabhgarh and Faridabad 5 each, Ayanagar and Loharu 3 each, Bawal 2 and New Delhi (Safdarjung), Delhi Ridge, Naraingarh, Bhiwani, Gohana, Jhajjar and Uchana 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bhang, Nadaun and Sujanpurtira 3 each, Dhundhi, Kasol and Solangnala 2 each and Patisio and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 10, Bhaderwah and Katra 2 each, Punjab: Amritsar 6, East Rajasthan: Rawatbhata 11, Jhalawar 9, Kotas, Mount Abu and Pilani 3 each, West Rajasthan: Churu 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Neemsar 10, Chatnag 6, Bhatpurwaghat, Gazipur and Allahabad 5 each, Katerniaghat and Balrampur 4 each, Palliakalan, Mirzapur, Control room, Kanpur and Hanumansetu 3 each, Gorakhpur, Mukhlispur, Jaunpur and Phaphamau 2 each and chandradeepghat, Raebareilly, Birdghat, Bhinga, Mohana, Bahraich, Elginbridge, Kakrahi, Shardanagar, Kakardharighat, Challaghat and Kanpur F.M.O. 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 7, Agra 3, Dabri, Narora,Agra F.M.O.
