Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. 

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhang and Solangnala 3 each and Surgani 2, Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal 3 and Bhoond 1, East Rajasthan: Mount Abu 9, Revdar 5, Deval, Danpur, Gogunda, Kherwara, Kushalgarh, Shergarh and Sallumber 2 each and Banswara, Chikli, Chhotisadri, Hurda, Kotda, Kishangarh, Kesarpura, Nagar, Pindwara, Pratapgarh, Raipur and Sarwar 1 each, West Rajasthan: Ramsar 21, Gadra Road 17, Barmer 16, Chohtan and Jaswantpura 7 each, Baitu and Gudamalani 6 each, Bagoda, Bhinmal, Jalore, Sanchore and Saila 5 each, Dhorimanna and Sedwa 4 each, Sindhri 3, Ahore, Balotra and Pachpadra 2 each and Jodhpur, Sumerpur and Siwana 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Jaunpur 15, Mirzapur 7, Sultanpur 5, Ayodhya, Ghazipur and Varanasi AP 2 each and Allahabad, Balrampur, Birdghat, Chhatnag, Elginbridge and Phaphamau 1 each and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 5.
